Insurance claim: what to do

If you need medical care in Georgia under your IRAO policy:

1. Call IRAO assistance

   +995 32 2 949 949

   The line is open around the clock. Under the policy wording, you must call no later than 24 hours after the insured event.

2. Tell the operator

   The insured person’s first and last name, the policy number, the name of the clinic, the time of the clinic visit and the preliminary diagnosis.

3. Then follow the assistance service’s instructions

   Treatment takes place at a licensed clinic.

4. If you can’t call right away

   For example, because of your state of health — in that case, a companion or the clinic can call. The policy wording allows a delayed call for objective reasons.
